For over 25 years, Podiatry Management magazine surveys
podiatric physicians on a variety of issues relevant to their
practice. The survey is usually completed online at the end
of the year and the results are published in the February issue
of the following year. The results are reviewed and analyzed
for management, marketing and economic trends.
Topics addressed in the survey vary from overhead expenses to the percentage
of patients requiring wound care. One particular question asked
is which topical podiatrists use to heal their matrixectomies (toenail
surgery.) AmeriGel® Wound Dressing has been the number one choice for
the last five consecutive years, according to the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 surveys.
