For over twenty years, Podiatry Management magazine surveys
podiatric physicians on a variety of issues relevant to their practice. The survey is
usually completed online at the end of the year and the results are
published in the February issue of the following year. The results are
reviewed and analyzed for management, marketing and economic trends.
Topics addressed in the survey vary from overhead expenses to the percentage
of patients requiring wound care. One particular question asked
is which topical podiatrists use to heal their matrixectomies (toenail
surgery.) AmeriGel® Wound Dressing has been the number one choice for
the last four consecutive years, according to the 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 surveys.
Now ... #1 rated topical dressing for Wound Care in 2006
Another question asked of podiatrists across the country is what topical
they use for wound care. AmeriGel® Wound Dressing has steadily gained
recognition and advanced to the number one choice, according to the 2006 survey.
Amerx Health Care is very proud of these accomplishments and
the success of AmeriGel® Wound Dressing. With the continuing interest and publication
of upcoming studies, AmeriGel® will remain one of the leaders and
innovators in wound care.
